Known as the largest salt mine in Europe, Prahova Slanic is today one of the most important resorts of Romania, located between the Prahova valley Teleajenul, about 44 km from Ploiesti and at an altitude of 400 m.Salt Mountain, unique in the world, Bride, Baciului Baia, Baia Verde and Salt Union are just a few of the attractions of the resort which, according to the documents, more than 300 years has been an important place of business of salt.
