Aile Olăneşti is a city located in Valcea County in the central part was about, Romania. City is also called the "Golden Springs", named due to the mineral springs iodine, bromine, sodium, calcium, sulfur and chlorine, hypotonic or istonic
The city is relatively new, there not being Roman baths or anything that would lead to the conclusion that it is an old settlement (not the same be said of the area now part, Olăneşti - village). It sits on the Tisza valley (better known as the River Olăneşti) tributary of the Olt River, surrounded by mountains Gere, folk and Southern Carpathians Căprăreaţa whose heights are lost in the hills. This makes the winters mild and summers are cool.
Age of the city is discovering the existence identifies sources. Mineral waters from Olăneşti mentioned first time in a charter of 1760 and are called healing waters, these being in the estate of Thomas Olanescu Clucerului that builds the first spa rooms. Hence the famous name Olăneşti.
